GENERAL 1.6 Engine Serial Number The engine serial number is stamped on the top face of the fuel injection pump bracket on the right-hand side of the cylinder block. 1.7 Engine Model and Application Codes (1) The engine model code is embossed on the side of the fuel injection pump mount on the right-hand side of the cylinder block. (2) The engine model code consists of the following alphanumerical digits.
