Set Password (Lock and Unlock) Use extreme care when setting the password for starting the engine. If a mistake is made when entering the number, and the number is excepted by the system, as being correct, that number will be the only one that will allow the security system to be activated or deactivated. Write your password down and keep it in a safe location. Password numbers can only use numbers between 1 and 8. The small number to the lower left of each button on the instrument panel, indicates the number that will be entered when that button is pressed. Numbers "0" and "9" are invalid choices.
