PARTS CATALOG GUIDE VI. COPYING CATALOG DATA TO THE CLIPBOARD Copy and Append Buttons You may copy data from three sections of the catalog to the System Clipboard. Data can be copied from the Figure or Reference Figures, the Part Description Index or the Part Number Index. The copied items can then be pasted into a word processor or spreadsheet program. This feature can be useful for preparing parts lists for repair estimates or part orders. These buttons will be disabled until you select an item or multiple items using standard Windows text selection methods (i.e. click click and extend with the Shift Key and click and add or delete with the Ctrl Key).
The Copy button replaces the current clipboard contents with the selection and the Append Button will add the selection to the end of the clipboard. You can use the Select All (Ctrl-A) to select an entire page of a section. To select the entire section, use Select All for the first page, then go to the last page of the section, hold down the Shift Key and single click on the last line of data. VII. ZOOMING THE CATALOG IMAGE Zoom-In and Zoom-Out Buttons You may use the Zoom-In and Zoom-Out buttons to zoom in and out on the catalog pages. This allows you to see the entire page, when you have selected the zoom out button. To return to the normal view, simply click on the Zoom-In button.
Selections and Search details will not be visible when you have selected the Zoom-Out option, but will return when you select the normal view by clicking the Zoom-In button. VIII.
