NOTE: Turn the key switch to the OFF position then back to the ON position to reset the malfunction code. If the code continues to be displayed, take your ATV to an authorized Arctic Cat Dealer for EPS system servicing before resuming operation. B. Press and hold the Set/Reset Button (4) until the minutes stop scrolling and the hour display starts to scroll. Momentarily release when the cor- rect hour is displayed; then repeat- edly press and release the Set/Reset Button (4) until the correct minutes are displayed. CAUTION Never operate this ATV with a “P0635” code indicated on the LCD gauge/ speedometer.
This indicates a mal- function in the EPS system control cir- cuit and could result in a loss of power steering assist. NOTE: Clock memory power is supplied through the 15-amp acces- sory fuse and verified during gauge “power-up” and reset. In the event of clock memory power failure (blown fuse, etc.), the gauge will “power-up,” reset, and shut down repeatedly until clock memory power is restored. Always check the 15-amp accessory fuse if this gauge condition is noted. In the event of electrical power failure, the EPS system becomes disabled (simi- lar to an automobile with the engine shut off). Steering effort increases but steering control can be maintained. LCD (Digital) NOTE:
All segments of the LCD will activate for approximately two seconds when the ignition switch is rotated to the ON position. NOTE: The engine hour meter will not activate until engine speed exceeds 500 RPM. NOTE: High engine RPM, low vehi- cle speed, or heavy load can raise engine temperature. Decreasing engine RPM, reducing load, and selecting an appropriate transmission gear can lower the temperature. ACE-015B 1. Clock/Engine Hour Meter - The clock function indicates time in the 12-hour mode; the hour meter indi- cates the total time the ATV has run and cannot be reset to zero. To set the clock, use the following proce- dure. NOTE:
Debris in front of the engine (or packed between the cooling fins of the radiator) can reduce cooling capacity. Using a hose, pressure-wash the radiator and the engine to remove any debris restricting air flow. A. With the ignition switch ON, press and release the Mode But- ton (3) until the Clock/Engine Hour Meter (1) is displayed; then (if necessary) press and release the Set/Reset Button (4) to select the clock display. 3. Mode Button - Shifts the gauge through three set-up modes: speed- ometer/tachometer, distance, and time. 39 2.
Temperature Indicator - If the engine coolant temperature exceeds the nor- mal operating range, the temperature icon will begin flashing and the LCD will go blank for 30 seconds; then the LCD will return to normal. However, the temperature icon will continue to flash. DIVISION II - OPERATION/ MAINTENANCE CAUTION Continued operation with high engine temperature may result in engine dam- age or premature wear.
