Windows OS setup Please contact your IT or network administrator for best practices related to network security. 1. Some IPCs might have Windows IOT versions and certain features might need to be enabled. 2. To enable a remote computer to “Ping” the IPC, the ICMPv4 needs to be enabled in the inbound firewall rules. To enable ICMPv4, please follow the steps below. a. On the IPC go to Start->Control Panel -> System and Security->Windows Defender Firewall. b. Click on “Advanced settings”. c. Click on “Inbound Rules”. 4
