Block all road wheels and place the battery master switch in the 'Off' position. Removal Numbers in parentheses refer to Fig. 1. 3. Remove bolts (30) and lockwashers (31) securing grille (29) to grille subframe (7). Secure grille (29) clear of hood (1). WARNING To prevent personal injury and property damage, be sure blocking materials and lifting equipment are properly secured and of adequate capacity to do the job safely. 4. Pull cable assembly (22), handle inside cab, to release hood catch and lift up hood (1). Secure hood (1) in raised position using suitable lifting equipment. 1. Position the machine on a level surface, apply the parking brake and switch off the engine. 5.
Carefully remove bolts (34), hardened washers (35), tubes (36 & 37), washers (38), lockwashers (39) and nuts (40). SM 2120 2-02 1
