STARTING AND DRIVING Warning! ACC is a supplemental aid to the driver. It cannot cover all driving situations and traffic, weather and road conditions. You are always responsible for driving safely and complying with current laws and traffic regulations. Attention must be paid to the following situations, otherwise, accidents may be caused, resulting in personal injury or death: ■ You must intervene if ACC does not maintain a suitable speed or suitable distance to the vehicle ahead. ■ ACC is not a collision avoidance system. You are always responsible for applying the brakes if the system does not detect another vehicle.
■ ACC may not react to animals or small vehicles, such as bicycles and motorcycles. It may also not react to slow moving, parked or approaching vehicles, or stationary objects. ■ Do not use ACC in demanding driving conditions such as city driving or other heavy traffic situations, in slippery conditions, when there is a great deal of water or slush on the road, during heavy rain or snow, in poor visibility, on winding roads or on ramps etc. VESPER 01 Current speed 02 ACC set speed The left information display area in the instrument cluster displays ACC symbol and the set speed. Note! Caution! □ ACC can regulate the vehicle's speed by accelerating and braking.
The brakes may emit a sound when they are being modulated by the ACC system. This is normal. □ When ACC controls the vehicle to follow the vehicle ahead, and it gets too close, it may trigger the auto emergency braking. ■ Be careful when installing the front license frame. The wide metal license frame will affect front radar signal output, which may cause the radar to incorrectly handle the vehicle's driving status or report false alarms. ■ Maintenance of ACC components can only be performed by a trained and qualified technician from Lynk & Co. ACC symbol and message (Green): ACC is enabled. 190
