Otherwise, the devices can be damaged by lightning. • Never attempt to connect the standard telephone line cable to the LAN connector. CAUTION 1 Open the connector cover on the rear of the printer. 2 Connect a LAN cable to the LAN connector by pressing firmly until the connector clicks into place and arrange it as shown below.
