Page 40 SECTION 1 OPERATION TO STOP THE MACHINE 1 Release accelerator pedal (l), and depress brake pedal (2) to stop the machine 2 Place directional lever (3) in N (neutral) 3 Turn parking brake switch (4) to ON to apply the parking brake. * When the parking brake is applied, the transmission is automatically returned to neutral. 4 Operate work equipment lever (5) and lower the bucket to the ground, then locate work equipment control levers (5) to hold position silrely and then lock safety lock of control levers WARNING! Stop the machine in a safe place on firm level ground. If the machine has to be stopped on a slope, put blocks under the wheels.
