Foreword Welcome to use E48400, consisting of the distribution frame, monitoring module and rectifier module. The whole system is of high reliability and performance, and can be operated through PC software. Statement 1. The performance of E48400 embedded power system is detailed in the specification. Please read the specification carefully before any operation is conducted in compliance with safety rules. Our warrant will not apply to any damage of product caused by improper operation or utilization out of range specified in this specification. 2. The information in this specification is subject to change without any notice. Safety rules High voltage!
AC input line is high voltage operating line. Be sure that the AC input is cut off before implementing any operations. Warning signs shall be tagged to the switches that should not be touched during operating process. Caution! AC terminals and other unnecessarily bare part shall be strictly insulated. Caution! The device shall be securely grounded before power-on. Caution! The module is hot-swappable; please make sure that all indicators on module panel is under state of off before the module is inserted. Any operation at AC & high voltage under lightning is forbidden.

1. General 1.1 System configuration The system consists of distribution unit, rectifier module (minimum 1pcs, max 6pcs), and 1 monitoring module, optional modules may refer to the following table: 1.2 Operating principle AC power feed into the rectifier module after lightning protection and EMI filtering through the AC-input. The AC-input acts as protection to over load and short circuit to AC power. The user’s battery is connected to the DC output side through MCB BAT, and the circuit breaker provides disconnection control, over-load and short-circuit protection to the battery.
Under normal conditions, every parameter of rectifier modules and distribution unit are all under control of the monitoring module, operating according to the pre-set parameter or user’s commands. If AC mains fault, the battery will power to the system. With the battery discharge, the terminal voltage of the battery starts to descend. When the voltage is under the preset value, the monitor send DC under voltage alarm signal cuts off the LOAD, and then the power system will stop working. If the external AC mains recovers, the system will normally work again.
Except for battery over-discharge protection, battery or load over-temperature protection is prohibitive under default, users can send command to activate or inactivate according to the demanding.
